Alton Abbey Confession Chair Bishops Chair Gothic Church Chair

This is a stunning early Victorian antique gothic armchair. Originally a bishops chair making its way to the famous Alton Abbey, now a hotel. A beautiful piece that works perfectly as a gentleman’s armchair for entrance ways, living rooms or at the head of a dining table. I’m sure this chair would have some stories to tell.

Overall in good condition, sturdy to use repairs have been made to the chair and some pieces missing, but this all adds to its character and history. This listing is just for one chair to the left.
