Alton Abbey Confession Chair Bishops Chair Pair of Gothic Church Chairs

This is a stunning pair of mismatched antique gothic armchairs. Originally a confession chair and a bishops chair making their way to the famous Alton Abbey, now a hotel. Beautiful pieces that work perfectly as a gentleman’s and ladies armchair pair for entrance ways, living rooms or head of a dining table. I’m sure these chairs would have some stories to tell. 
Overall in good condition, sturdy to use repairs have been made to the larger chair and some pieces missing, but this all adds to their character and history.
