Victorian Tann’s Lock & Safe Cast Iron Safe Lockbox Antoque Fireproof Safe

This is a charming Victorian safe by Tann's Defiance Lock & Safe Works in London. John Tann Ltd. was a renowned manufacturer of high-quality fire- and burglar-proof safes and strong rooms throughout the late 19th and early 20th centuries. 
This model appears to be a smaller, possibly Victorian-era safe, sometimes referred to as a "traveller's sample" or miniature safe. 
A beautiful piece to store valuables whilst adding charm and character to a space as a side table.  Overall in good condition with working long and key for the main door.
