Moroccan Painted Folk Art Sofa Occasional Side Table – Green & Turquoise

This is a striking antique Moroccan side table, beautifully decorated with an intricate arrangement of hand-painted geometric and foliate motifs. Its distinctive star-shaped top and sculptural architectural form make this a truly characterful piece, rich in colour, craftsmanship and decorative appeal.

The vibrant palette of turquoise, sage green, ochre, red and black is complemented by elaborate painted detailing across the table’s sides and recessed arches. The design draws on the decorative traditions of Moroccan folk art, where bold colour, repeating patterns and architectural forms come together to create pieces with real individuality.

The beautifully weathered finish adds to its charm, allowing the layers of colour and detail to shine through while celebrating the character of an older, well-loved piece. Equally at home in an eclectic country-house interior, a layered bohemian space or alongside antique furniture and collected objects, it would make a wonderful accent beside a sofa or armchair.

Good, sturdy condition overall, with age-related wear to the painted finish consistent with its character.
